Payfold — Privacy Policy

Summary
Payfold is a paycheck calculator. Every number you type — salary, hourly rate,
state, dependents, deductions — stays on your device. Payfold has no user
accounts, no sign-in, and no server that stores your calculations. Saved
calculation history lives only in the app's local storage on your phone and is
deleted if you delete the app.
What we collect, and why
- Advertising identifiers & ad interaction data — to show banner
and rewarded ads, and (only if you allow tracking when prompted) to personalize
them. Provided by Google AdMob. You can decline tracking in the App Tracking
Transparency prompt; ads still show, just not personalized.
- Purchase data — your "Remove Ads" purchase status, so ads stay off
after you buy. Handled by RevenueCat and Apple's App Store; Payfold never sees
or stores your payment details.
- Crash reports and basic usage analytics — anonymous, aggregated,
used only to find and fix bugs and understand which screens are used. Provided
by Firebase (Google).
Payfold does not collect your name, email, salary figures, or any
calculation input on any server. Nothing you type into the calculator is
transmitted anywhere.
Third-party services
Your choices
- Decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt to opt out of ad personalization.
- Purchase "Remove Ads" to stop all ad requests entirely.
- Delete the app to remove all locally saved calculation history.
Children
Payfold is a general-audience financial utility and is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new
version will be posted at this same URL.
